Bullard’s Smith joining White Sox for spring training

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KLTV) – Former Bullard Panther Hagen Smith has been invited to join the Chicago White Sox spring training roster when the team opens camp on Feb. 17.

Smith is one of 25 non-roster invitees to join the team when camp begins.

Smith was drafted 5th overall in the 2024 MLB draft out of Arkansas University. The Bullard native made his pro debut on Aug. 24 for the Chicago White Sox High-A affiliate, the Winston-Salem Dash.

Pitchers and catchers report to camp on Feb. 12, with the first full squad workout happening on Feb. 17. The White Sox first spring training game will be Feb. 22 against the Chicago Cubs.
