The Green Bay Packers have a variety of needs that require being addressed this offseason. While finding a wide receiver to replace Christian Watson, who will miss most (if not all) of 2025 due to a torn ACL suffered in Week 18 against the Chicago Bears, most of their needs are on defense.
With the future of Jaire Alexander with the franchise in serious doubt following Green Bay’s playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, cornerback is undoubtedly a position that they will look at. However, the pass rush, too, is in need of reinforcements as they were among the worst in the NFL at pressure rate in 2024.
Many fans believe general manager Brian Gutekunst may be trying to acquire one of the most prolific pass rushers in the league based on a recent update.
Green Bay Packers GM Brian Gutekunst Spotted at the Shrine Bowl with Las Vegas Raiders Executives
After the college football season ends, there are numerous All-Star games in which players can showcase their talents in hopes of impressing scouts ahead of the NFL Draft.
One of these is the Shrine Bowl, which donates all proceeds from the event to Shriner’s Children. In this exhibition, some of the top players who have declared for the NFL Draft participate in drills in front of scouts, executives, and coaches.
Not surprisingly, Gutekunst himself is in attendance at the game. However, who he was seen sitting by has fans clamoring on social media.
Green Bay Packers Fans Want Brian Gutekunst to Trade for Las Vegas Raiders Star Maxx Crosby
According to NFL analyst MJ Hurley, Gutekunst was seen at the Shrine Bowl with representatives of the Las Vegas Raiders:

The Raiders, of course, currently have four-time Pro Bowl pass rusher Maxx Crosby on their roster, but he is a name that many feel will be available via trade this offseason.
And since Gutekunst was seen sitting with Las Vegas executives, some fans believe he may be trying to work out a trade:

Of course, it is also possible that Gutekunst is just looking at two positions that he needs to address this offseason. Still, it is intriguing that he was spotted with Raiders representatives given the buzz surrounding Crosby lately.
