The Green Bay Packers know that their division is going to be one of the best if the league for at least the immediate future. Three teams are coming off 11+ wins and the Chicago Bears got their head coach in Ben Johnson.
That being said, Green Bay will be facing off against one of their former players twice a year.
“I Want To Vomit” Packers Fans Explode Over Bears Hiring Packers Player (Report)
On Friday, Green Bay fans learned of a massive coaching hire in the NFC North:
According to multiple reports, former Packers cornerback Al Harris, who was inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame in 2021, has accepted the job of passing game coordinator and cornerbacks coach with the Bears.
Harris had spent the last five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys on Mike McCarthy’s staff. Last season, he was promoted to assistant head coach while also acting as the defensive backs coach.
Prior to joining his former coach with the Packers in Dallas, Harris was a coaching intern with the Miami Dolphins in 2012. From 2013-2018, he was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs coaching staff.
Of course, he is most remembered for his time as a Pro Bowl cornerback with the Packers, who acquired him via trade from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2003. After five solid seasons with the Eagles, Harris spent seven years with Green Bay as one of their starting cornerbacks.
Of course, Green Bay fans were quick to react to this news:

What the hell?! Why couldn’t Matt talk him in to coming back? What a missed opportunity.
