He was acquired by Pittsburgh from the Yankees along with INF Maikol Escotto, OF Canaan Smith and RHP Miguel Yajure in exchange for RHP Jameson Taillon on January 24, 2021. He was then designated for assignment on May 11, 2024 and acquired by the Angels in exchange for cash considerations on May 16, 2024. Additionally, he was claimed off waivers by three different teams this offseason (Texas, Cincinnati and Baltimore).
