As the Chicago White Sox move to the new Chicago Sports Network for the 2025 season, they are bolstering their coverage.
Connor McKnight (seen above during a guest appearance on the Locked on White Sox podcast), who had been a radio studio host for White Sox games on ESPN 1000 for the last four years, will now be part of the team’s television coverage on CHSN.
The news was reported by Jeff Agrest of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Agrest further detailed what McKnight’s role on the broadcasts will be.
“McKnight, who becomes a Sox employee, will serve as the team insider, reporting from the field and appearing on CHSN shows,” Agrest reported. “He also will fill in on play-by-play for TV and radio broadcasts.”
John Schriffen (play-by-play) and Steve Stone (color commentary) will continue to serve as the team’s primary announcers.
The 2025 season will be the first for the White Sox on the Chicago Sports Network. Their games aired on the now-defunct NBC Sports Chicago through the 2024 season. The White Sox moved their broadcasts to CHSN for the 2025 season, along with the NBA’s Chicago Bulls and NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks.
