BREAKING: The Patriots have also officially hired Mike Vrabel’s former strength and conditioning coach Frank Piraino, per source.

Patriots expected to hire two members of Mike Vrabel's staff from Tennessee image

The New England Patriots have officially announced Mike Vrabel as their next head coach, and now they’re working on filling out the coaching staff under Vrabel for the 2025 season.

On Sunday, ESPN’s Mike Reiss reported that the Patriots expected to bring in Frank Piraino and John Streicher to work for/with Vrabel.

Piriano, 45, spent the 2024 season as the New York Giants director of strength and conditioning after spending the five previous seasons working as strength and conditioning coach and director of sports performance under Vrabel with the Tennessee Titans.

Streicher spent 2024 with the Los Angeles Rams as a game management assistant working with Sean McVay, which is always beneficial. Before that, he spent six seasons with Vrabel in Tennessee as director of football administration and football development coordinator/assistant to the head coach.

Both could be great additions to a staff that’s pretty empty at this point.
