After the Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Baltimore Ravens a week ago, their season was ended. But a week later and the Ravens are in the same spot. Former Ravens and now Steelers linebacker Patrick Queen caught some heat from former teammate Roquan Smith, who said they sent him to Cabo.
“I think I remember my guy PQ saying the last time we played them was [for] a hat and T-shirt,” Smith said. “But I guess he [got] the T-shirt he got on and he’ll be in Cabo or somewhere.”
Queen hit back on X after the Ravens’ 27-25 loss to the Buffalo Bills, saying he ‘saved the jet’ for Smith to join him in Cabo after the loss.
In his first season with the Steelers, Queen had an up-and-down season, and it did not go as well as the Steelers hoped. He played well in some aspects, but in others, he struggled and did not have great eye discipline or processing.
Either way, Queen will be back in 2025 and core piece of the Steelers’ defense in the future. He needs to bounce back, though, as he enters the second year of a three year deal.
